As many of you know we’ve dropped our early Summer 2012 Line. We’ve been working on it for many months, redeveloping our processes and products. It’s been long, it’s been hard but it’s totally been worth it.
When we first started out designing this summer’s style we were also right in the middle of a bunch of collabs with various artists and entertainers. The Brother’s Grim were talking to us about their merch and bumping ideas around about Etown’s hip hop scene and EDM Urban Showcase was nearing launch. A lot of what Grim wanted to convey rubbed off on us. We related to their pride for the 118 ave neighbourhood. Just as 118 ave has been there for them, Edmonton has really come through for us.
So we put out City in Words. It’s a subtle message. You can’t really see the detail when you first look at it. But when you lean in you see that detail pop. The throw backs to EDM tradition like “99” or the old cap ex name “Klondike Days”. You keep going though and see shout outs to our generation, like “JoThrillz” or “Oil Kings”.

A few people have asked me why we’re dropping sweaters and crewnecks for a summer line. Summers in Canada can get pretty hot, I totally get that, but I can’t remember a summer I didn’t need a sweater. In May you get a lot of rainy days. In June the nights still drop down to single digits. July, you don’t need ‘em unless you’re hiking and camping the rockies. August mornings get crisp and September’s a mix! And so, for our cool rainy days and summer nights, you have the made in Canada, Flavor Crew neck and Melange Sweater

Now we love representing our roots in E-town, but we go deeper than that. For me, Wetaskiwin and Vancouver will also be home and Calgary the same for Ryder. We love you guys out there too and everyone else around the world!
So to continue with our theme of simplicity and elegance, while also giving all of our fans something to jump behind, we have our cursive T’s.

And of course, our very popular hand made bracelets are out. Extra special for this season is the Bad Bitch Mentality bracelet which is already getting a lot of attention!

We have a video look book in the works and some interesting “stills” to come. For now, check out the look book for Summer 2012. Thanks Everyone for your support. You keep us going!

Wow you scrolled down here? Well now you get to see a special shout out to this Expat from Germany. Apparently he was an aerospace engineer. He was ballin’ and had some sick style going on. Thanks for making my day old fella!
